# Account Permission: View Wages & Training Costs

You can assign [group permissions](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/user-group-permissions) or [account permissions](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/user-account-permissions) to a user by [editing their user profile](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/editing-a-user-manually).In order to use this feature, be sure to enable [**training cost tracking**](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/account-settings#training-cost-tracking) for your account.

The functions available to users with the View Wages & Training Costs account permission are detailed below.

## User Admin

### Users Dashboard

On its own, the View Wages & Training Costs account permission does NOT grant the user permission to the Users Dashboard. Refer to [Users Dashboard](/v1/docs/users-dashboard) for details on other permissions required for access.

Users with the View Wages & Training Costs account permission can do the following from the Users Dashboard:
