# Activity Log

The user activity log provides a way for you to capture notes about a user. These notes are listed in chronological order in the Activity Log accordion of the User Information workscreen.

Certain events will also trigger a system-generated entry to be added to the user's activity log. These events include when a user:

- Logs in
- Starts a course
- Completes a course
- Gains or loses a learning plan or certification
- Has a wage entered
