# Adding a Custom Learning Plan Report

Similar to the default Learning Plan Report, a custom Learning Plan Report provides information about users who are assigned learning plans. What makes custom Learning Plan Reports unique is that they enable you to specify the [visibility level](https://support.smarteru.com//v1/docs/custom-enrollment-report-report-profile#visibility-level), [type](https://support.smarteru.com//v1/docs/custom-learning-plan-report-type), [filters](https://support.smarteru.com//v1/docs/custom-learning-plan-report-filters), [output options](https://support.smarteru.com//v1/docs/custom-learning-plan-report-output-options), and [columns](https://support.smarteru.com//v1/docs/custom-learning-plan-report-columns) of the report.

To add a custom Learning Plan Report:

1. From the Admin menu, select **Report Admin**.
2. Select **Reports**. The [Reports Dashboard](/v1/docs/reports-dashboard) displays.
3. Click **Learning Plan**.

A new tab displays the Add/Edit Learning Plan Report workscreen.

1. Complete the following accordions for the custom Learning Plan Report:

- [Output](/v1/docs/custom-learning-plan-report-output-options)

1. Click **Save**.
