# Adding a Knowledge Base Page

A [knowledge base page](/v1/docs/knowledge-base) displays the articles and files in a knowledge base.

To add a knowledge base page:

1. [Add a page](/v1/docs/adding-a-page) to one of your categories.
2. From the Add/Edit Category Page workscreen
  1. Expand the Main Settings accordion.
  2. From the [**Type** list](/v1/docs/page-main#type), select *Knowledge Base*.
  3. Click **Save**.
