# Adding a Quiz Question

To add a question to a [quiz task](/v1/docs/quizzes):

1. Ensure the quiz you want to add the question to is displayed.
2. From the Quiz workscreen, click **Question**.

A new Question tab displays.

1. By default, new questions will be named *Question*. Rename the question by doing the following:

1. Click the ![](https://cdn.document360.io/7efaadab-fef6-4186-806a-2ca14c9ce9ea/Images/Documentation/Pencil%2020210810.png) beside the name.
2. Enter the new name.
3. Press ENTER.
4. Click **Save**.

1. Specify the following settings for the quiz question:

- [Question](/v1/docs/quiz-question-question)
- [General Preferences](/v1/docs/quiz-question-general-preferences)
- [Answers](/v1/docs/quiz-question-answers)

1. Click **Save**.
