# Adding a Team

You must have the required [Manage Teams account permission](/v1/docs/account-permission-manage-teams) to add a team.

Teams are defined as part of your account.

To add a team:

1. View one of the following dashboards:

- [Organizations Dashboard](/v1/docs/organizations-dashboard)
- [Teams Dashboard](/v1/docs/teams-dashboard)
- [Users Dashboard](/v1/docs/users-dashboard)

1. Click **Team**.

A new tab displays the Team Profile workscreen.

1. Specify the team's settings in the following accordions:

- [Team Information](/v1/docs/team-team-information)
- [Users](/v1/docs/team-users)

1. Click **Save**.
