# Adding an Advanced Learning Plan

To add an advanced [learning plan](/v1/docs/learning-plans):

1. From the Admin menu, select **Account Admin**.
2. Select **Learning Plans**. The [Learning Plans Dashboard](/v1/docs/learning-plans-dashboard) displays.
3. Click **Learning Plan (Advanced)**.

A new tab displays the Add/Edit Learning Plan workscreen.

1. Specify the advanced learning plan's settings in the following accordions:

- [Main](/v1/docs/learning-plan-main)
- [Notifications](/v1/docs/learning-plan-notifications)

1. Click **Save**.

You can now [assign certifications to the learning plan](/v1/docs/assigning-certifications-to-a-learning-plan).
