# Adding an Instructor-led Course

## Who Has Access

The following users can add instructor-led courses from the Courses Dashboard:

- Users with the [Group Manager](/v1/docs/group-permission-group-manager-gm) or [Create Course](/v1/docs/group-permission-create-course-cc) group permission.
- [Administrators or owners](/v1/docs/user-profile-information#access-level).

## Adding an Instructor-led Course

To add an instructor-led course:

1. From the Admin menu, select **Course Admin**.
2. Select **Courses**. The [Courses Dashboard](/v1/docs/courses-dashboard) displays.
3. Click **Instructor Led**.

A new tab displays the Course Information workscreen.

1. Specify the instructor-led course's settings in the following accordions:
  - [Main](/v1/docs/instructor-led-course-main)
  - [Groups](/v1/docs/course-groups)
  - [Prerequisites](/v1/docs/course-prerequisites-1)
  - [Sessions](/v1/docs/adding-a-session)
  - [Customization](/v1/docs/instructor-led-course-customization)
  - [Notifications](/v1/docs/instructor-led-course-notifications)
  - [Tags](/v1/docs/course-tags)
  - [Course Managers](/v1/docs/course-course-managers)
  - [Completion Setup](/v1/docs/instructor-led-course-completion-setup)
  - [Post-Course Evaluations](/v1/docs/course-post-course-evaluations-1)
  - [Points & Rewards](/v1/docs/course-points-and-rewards) (Note, this accordion only displays after the course is saved and if the [Points and Rewards functionality](/v1/docs/points-and-rewards) is enabled.)
2. Click **Save**.
3. [Add sessions for your instructor-led course](/v1/docs/adding-a-session).
