# Adding Points Earned

In order to use this feature, be sure to enable [**points and rewards**](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/account-settings#points-rewards) for your account.

SmarterU automatically rewards learners with points earned when they complete a course that is associated with a point tracker. In some situations, you might need to manually enter points that a learner has earned.

To manually add points a learner has earned:

1. From the Admin menu, select **Account Admin**.
2. Select **Points & Rewards**. The [Points & Rewards Dashboard](/v1/docs/points-and-rewards-dashboard) displays.
3. Click **Redemption**.

1. Click **Points Entry**.
