# Changing the Account's Default Email Templates

To change the default email template that is used for system-generated emails:

1. View the [Email Management Dashboard](/v1/docs/email-management-dashboard#viewing-the-email-management-dashboard).
2. Click the email type for which you would like to change the default.

1. Expand the [Templates accordion](/v1/docs/email-template-templates). The currently selected default template displays a ![](https://cdn.document360.io/7efaadab-fef6-4186-806a-2ca14c9ce9ea/Images/Documentation/changing-the-accounts-default-email-templates-image-2rzypjnq.png) in the Account Default column of the grid.
2. Click **Change Account Default**.

1. Select the email template you would like to use as the account's default from the list.

1. Click **Save**. A ![](https://cdn.document360.io/7efaadab-fef6-4186-806a-2ca14c9ce9ea/Images/Documentation/changing-the-accounts-default-email-templates-image-bxof4vcb.png) should now display in the Account Default column of the selected email template.
