A course's post-course evaluation settings are located in the Post-Course Evaluations accordion of the Course Information workscreen which displays when you add or edit an [online](/v1/docs/courses-online), [SCORM](/v1/docs/courses-scorm), or [instructor-led](/v1/docs/courses-instructor-led) course. ![Course Info - Post-Course Evaluations - Internal 20221130](https://cdn.document360.io/7efaadab-fef6-4186-806a-2ca14c9ce9ea/Images/Documentation/Course%20Info%20-%20Post-Course%20Evaluations%20-%20Internal%2020221130.png) ## Settings Be sure to click **Save** after changing these settings. ### Enable Post-Course Evaluations Check to enable post-course evaluations for this course. This setting inherits the [account's **Enable Post-Course Evaluations** setting](https://support.smarteru.com/v1/docs/account-post-course-evaluations#enable-postcourse-evaluation). ### Override Account Defaults This setting is only available when the course's [**Enable Post-Course Evaluations** setting](https://help.smarteru.com/course-post-course-evaluations$setting_enable_post_course_eval) is checked. Select to override the [account's post-course evaluation settings](/v1/docs/account-post-course-evaluations). If you leave this setting disabled, the course will inherit the [account's post-course evaluation settings](/v1/docs/account-post-course-evaluations). Any changes made to the account's post-course evaluation settings will be automatically inherited by the course. This includes changes to the [selected internal form](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/account-post-course-evaluations#internal-form). ### Evaluation Type Select the type of survey for your courses: - Internal - The default post-course evaluation is a form created with [SmarterU's Form Builder](/v1/docs/form-builder). A course with an internal evaluation displays a [Post Course Evaluation tab in the course details page](/v1/docs/learner-interface-course-details-course-evaluation) of the learner interface. ![Course Details - Post Course Eval Tab in BG 20221014](https://cdn.document360.io/7efaadab-fef6-4186-806a-2ca14c9ce9ea/Images/Documentation/Course%20Details%20-%20Post%20Course%20Eval%20Tab%20in%20BG%2020221014.png) If a course has an internal evaluation, the learner must submit the evaluation to complete an online or SCORM course. You can [export responses to the evaluation to a CSV file](/v1/docs/exporting-a-forms-submissions). - External - The default post-course evaluation is a form created with a third-party tool such as [Typeform](/v1/docs/creating-course-evaluation-surveys-using-typeform) or SurveyMonkey. The default location of the evaluation: - Course Completion Email - The post-course evaluation's link displays in the [course completion email](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/system-email-templates-course-emails-general#course-completion). - Course Details Screen - The post-course evaluation's link displays on the [course details page](https://support.smarteru.com/v1/docs/learner-interface-course-details-course-evaluation). - Both - The post-course evaluation's link displays in the [course completion email](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/system-email-templates-course-emails-general#course-completion) and the [course details page](https://support.smarteru.com/v1/docs/learner-interface-course-details-course-evaluation). The *Course Completion Email* and *Both* options require the course's **Send Course Completion Notification** setting to be enabled.  ### Days Visible to Learner This setting is only applicable when: > The [**Evaluation Type** setting](/v1/docs/course-post-course-evaluations#evaluation-type) is set to *External.* AND > The [**Evaluation Location** setting](/v1/docs/course-post-course-evaluations#evaluation-location) is *Course Details Screen* or *Both*. The number of days that the post-course evaluation will be accessible to learners. ### Internal Form This setting is only applicable when the [**Evaluation Type** setting](/v1/docs/course-post-course-evaluations#evaluation-type) is *Internal*. Select the form used for post-course evaluations. ### Evaluation URL This setting is only applicable when the [**Evaluation Type** setting](/v1/docs/course-post-course-evaluations#evaluation-type) is *External*. The base URL to the survey. SmarterU will add additional information to the URL (e.g., learner's name, email address, course name, etc...). ### Evaluation Text This setting is only applicable when the [**Evaluation Type** setting](/v1/docs/course-post-course-evaluations#default-evaluation-type) is *External*. The text that displays prior to the post-course evaluation URL in the [course completion email](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/system-email-templates-course-emails-general#course-completion) or on the [course details page](/v1/docs/learner-interface-course-details-course-evaluation). ### Form Submission Settings This setting is only applicable when the [**Evaluation Type** setting](/v1/docs/course-post-course-evaluations#evaluation-type) is *Internal*. Select the form submission settings: - Form Defaults - Select to use the [selected form's](/v1/docs/course-post-course-evaluations#internal-form) [Form Submission settings](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/editing-a-forms-settings#settings). - Custom - Select to override the [selected form's](/v1/docs/course-post-course-evaluations#internal-form) [Form Submission settings](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/editing-a-forms-settings#settings). ### Anonymous This setting is only applicable when the [**Form Submission Settings** setting](/v1/docs/course-post-course-evaluations#form-submission-settings) is *Custom*. If checked, the learner's name and other user-related information (e.g., email address, employee ID) will not be visible to non-administrators; only administrators will be able to view this information. If unchecked, the learner's information will be visible to administrators and non-administrators. ### Learner Message This setting is only applicable when the [**Form Submission Settings** setting](/v1/docs/course-post-course-evaluations#form-submission-settings) is *Custom*. The text displayed to learners when they view the form. ### Send Form Submission Notification This setting is only applicable when the [**Form Submission Settings** setting](/v1/docs/course-post-course-evaluations#form-submission-settings) is *Custom*.
