# Courses Dashboard

The Courses Dashboard enables you to view and access information about [online](/v1/docs/courses-online), [instructor-led](/v1/docs/courses-instructor-led), and [SCORM](/v1/docs/courses-scorm) courses.

[External courses](/v1/docs/courses-external) are NOT displayed or managed in the Courses Dashboard.

## Who Has Access

The following users have access to the Courses Dashboard:

- Users with the [Group Manager](/v1/docs/group-permission-group-manager-gm) or [Create Course](/v1/docs/group-permission-create-course-cc) group permission.
- [Course managers](/v1/docs/course-course-managers).
- [Administrators and owners](/v1/docs/user-profile-information#access-level).

The courses displayed in the Courses Dashboard will depend on what groups you've been granted permissions to, or what courses you are a course manager for.

## Viewing the Courses Dashboard

To view the Courses Dashboard:

1. From the Admin menu, select **Course Admin**.
2. Select **Courses**.

By default, the [Courses (by Name) list](/v1/docs/viewing-courses#viewing-courses-by-name) option is selected to display courses to which you have permission.

Beside each course name is an icon that indicates the course type.

By default, the right pane displays the Dashboard tab, indicated by the ![](https://cdn.document360.io/7efaadab-fef6-4186-806a-2ca14c9ce9ea/Images/Documentation/image-1645559873702.png) icon in the tab. The Dashboard tab displays the total number of courses, the total number of instructors, and the total number of learners in all groups and/or courses that you have permission to.

The right pane displays all courses (online, instructor-led, and SCORM) in a [grid](/v1/docs/courses-dashboard#columns-in-the-grid).

## Columns in the Grid

The columns of the Courses Dashboard's grid are described below.

| Column | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Course** | The [name of the course](/v1/docs/online-course-main#name-required). |
| **Status** | The [status of the course](/v1/docs/online-course-main#status) (i.e., Active, Inactive). |
| **Groups** | The number of [groups to which the course has been assigned](/v1/docs/course-groups). |
| **Created** | The date that the course was added. |
| **Enrollments** | The number of [enrollments by status](/v1/docs/enrollment-status-summary). |
