# Creating a Custom Certificate: Saving the Background as a JPG

If you would like your new completion certificate to use the background of your existing certificate, you'll need to save the background of your existing certificate as a JPG file.

If you are creating a new background for your custom completion certificate, you'll need to ensure that it's saved as a JPG file.

## **Saving the Background as a JPG**

- Ensure your JPG image has a resolution of 300 DPI to prevent pixelation.
- You will need to use an application such as Adobe Photoshop to save the JPG with the proper DPI settings.

The steps to save your certificate as a JPG will depend on your certificate's existing format.
