Typeform is just one of several form creation products that you can use with SmarterU to develop post-course evaluation surveys. ![Diagram Description automatically generated with medium confidence](https://cdn.document360.io/7efaadab-fef6-4186-806a-2ca14c9ce9ea/Images/Documentation/creating-course-evaluation-surveys-using-typeform-image-feap762c.png) After [creating the survey in Typeform](/v1/docs/creating-course-evaluation-surveys-using-typeform#creating-the-survey-in-typeform) and [specifying your course's completion settings](/v1/docs/creating-course-evaluation-surveys-using-typeform#setting-up-postcourse-evaluations-in-smarteru), you'll copy the URL generated by Typeform to SmarterU's Completion Settings. You'll have the option of providing learners with access to the survey via the [course completion email](/v1/docs/system-email-templates-course-emails-general#course-completion), the [course details page](/v1/docs/course-details-page), or both. As learners complete the survey, you'll be able [analyze the results](/v1/docs/creating-course-evaluation-surveys-using-typeform#analyzing-survey-results). Creating a survey in Typeform consists of three steps: 1. [Create the survey in Typeform](/v1/docs/creating-course-evaluation-surveys-using-typeform#creating-the-survey-in-typeform). 2. [Set up the post-course evaluation in SmarterU](/v1/docs/creating-course-evaluation-surveys-using-typeform#setting-up-postcourse-evaluations-in-smarteru). 3. [Analyze the results](/v1/docs/creating-course-evaluation-surveys-using-typeform#analyzing-survey-results). ## **Creating the Survey in Typeform** To create a survey in Typeform: 1. Create the survey by adding a new typeform. 2. If you have a paid Typeform account, you may add [SmarterU variables](/v1/docs/post-course-evaluation-variables) to your survey by [adding hidden fields](https://www.typeform.com/help/hidden-fields/).  The ability to pass SmarterU variables to Typeform is only available with Typeform's paid account option; it is not available with Typeform's free account. ![Graphical user interface Description automatically generated with medium confidence](https://cdn.document360.io/7efaadab-fef6-4186-806a-2ca14c9ce9ea/Images/Documentation/creating-course-evaluation-surveys-using-typeform-image-7uos07fn.png) 1. Add questions and content to your survey. When you have finished adding questions and content to your survey, locate the URL for the survey. Copy the URL **prior to the question mark**. Courses and sessions that have post-course evaluations enabled will inherit the account's settings. If needed, you may change the post-course evaluation settings at the course and session level. The steps below are for setting the [post-course evaluation settings at the account level](/v1/docs/account-post-course-evaluations). You may also specify the post-course evaluations settings at the [online](/v1/docs/online-course-completion-setup), [SCORM](/v1/docs/scorm-course-completion-setup), or [instructor-led course](/v1/docs/instructor-led-course-completion-setup) level. To set up post-course evaluations in SmarterU: 1. Ensure that your [account's **Enable Post-Course Evaluations** setting](/v1/docs/account-post-course-evaluations) is selected. This setting is located in the Post-Course Evaluations section of the Account Profile workscreen. 2. Specify the other settings related to post-course evaluations.
