# Custom Page Builder

We recommend using the Custom Page Builder in Chrome. Be sure to display the browser in full screen mode and set its zoom level to 100%.

The Custom Page Builder enables you to configure the content for custom pages that you've added to a [dashboard set](/v1/docs/dashboard-sets). With the Custom Page Builder you can [add widgets to the custom page](/v1/docs/adding-a-widget-to-a-custom-page).

By default, the available widgets are listed along the left of the Custom Page Builder. The workspace to the right of the available widgets is where you'll add, [resize](/v1/docs/resizing-widgets-on-a-custom-page), and [position](/v1/docs/moving-widgets-on-a-custom-page) the widgets you want to include on the page.

The Custom Page Builder's workspace is organized as a grid that's four columns wide.

When you [add a widget to the custom page](/v1/docs/adding-a-widget-to-a-custom-page), the widget defaults to its minimum size. The minimum height and width will depend on the [type of widget](/v1/docs/custom-page-widgets).

Above the workspace are several buttons that allow you to [preview the page](/v1/docs/previewing-a-custom-page), control which widgets are displayed, and save or discard changes that you've made.

## Who Has Access

[Administrators and owners](/v1/docs/user-profile-information#access-level) have access to the Custom Page Builder.

## Viewing the Custom Page Builder

BEFORE YOU BEGINBe sure that you've [added a page](/v1/docs/adding-a-page) to your dashboard set that has its [**Type** setting](/v1/docs/page-main#type) set to *Custom Page*.

To view the Custom Page Builder:

1. From the Admin menu, select **Account Admin.**
2. Select **Learner Dashboard Builder**. The Learner Dashboard Builder displays.
3. From the tree, select the custom page you would like to edit. A tab labeled with the selected custom page's name displays in the right pane.
4. Click **Edit**.
