# Disabling Pop-Up Blockers in IE for SmarterU

## **Support for Internet Explorer**

Microsoft has announced that their Microsoft 365 apps and services will no longer support Internet Explorer 11 past August 17th, 2021. SmarterU will be aligning with Microsoft, ending support for Internet Explorer 11 on the same date.

You can continue to use Internet Explorer 11 past this date, but you may encounter challenges with some features over time. Instead, we suggest using SmarterU with one of the following [recommended browsers](/v1/docs/supported-browsers-operating-systems-and-screen-reader) for the best learner experience:

- Microsoft Edge
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Apple Safari
