# Editing a Licensing Area

In order to use this feature, be sure to enable [licensing](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/account-settings#enable-licensing) for your account.

To edit a licensing area:

1. From the Admin menu, select **Account Admin**.
2. Select **Licensing**. The [Licensing Dashboard](/v1/docs/licensing-dashboard) displays.
3. From the list, select **Areas/Regions**.
4. Select the area you would like to edit.
5. Edit the [area's settings](/v1/docs/adding-a-licensing-area#settings) as needed.
6. Click **Save**.
