# Editing a Licensing Region

In order to use this feature, be sure to enable [licensing](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/account-settings#enable-licensing) for your account.

To edit a licensing region:

1. From the Admin menu, select **Account Admin**.
2. Select **Licensing**. The [Licensing Dashboard](/v1/docs/licensing-dashboard) displays.
3. [View the areas](/v1/docs/viewing-licensing-areas-and-regions).
4. Select the area containing the region you would like to edit. The selected area's details display.
5. Click the ![](https://cdn.document360.io/7efaadab-fef6-4186-806a-2ca14c9ce9ea/Images/Documentation/editing-a-licensing-region-image-mfd2hpu2.png)beside the region you would like to edit. The Add/Edit Region window displays the selected region's information.
6. Edit the [region's settings](/v1/docs/adding-a-licensing-region#settings) as needed.
7. Click **Save**.
