# Editing a Task in an Online Course

To edit a task in an online course:

1. [Edit the content of the online course](/v1/docs/editing-an-online-course#editing-an-online-courses-content) that contains the task. The [Course Builder Dashboard](/v1/docs/course-builder-dashboard) displays.
2. From the left pane of the Course Builder Dashboard, click the task you want to edit. The task displays in the right pane.
