# Emails That Are Always Sent

Certain emails will be sent by the system regardless of whether the [user's **Enable Email Notifications** setting](/v1/docs/user-login-information#enable-email-notifications) is checked. In other words, the following emails will be sent to the [user's primary email](/v1/docs/user-login-information#primary-email-required-if-employee-id-not-specified), [their supervisor's email address](/v1/docs/user-profile-information#supervisors), or [their alternate email address](/v1/docs/user-login-information#send-email-to) even if the **Enable Email Notifications** setting is unchecked.
