# Exporting an Activity Log for a User

To export an [activity log](/v1/docs/activity-log) for a user:

1. [View the user's activity log](/v1/docs/viewing-a-users-activity-log).
2. From the list located on the right above the grid, select one of the following:

- **Export to CSV** - exports the columns visible in the grid.
- **Export to CSV (full)** - exports [all user columns](/v1/docs/exporting-users#user-columns).

The Export Notification window displays.

1. In the **Send Email To** field, enter the email addresses of the users who should receive the link to the file.
2. Click **Confirm**.

When the export file is ready to be downloaded, an [email is sent to the specified email addresses](/v1/docs/system-email-templates-report-emails#queued-exports-notification).
