# Form Builder

The Form Builder enables you to design custom [forms](/v1/docs/forms) such as post-course evaluations, questionnaires, and surveys. You can [add different widgets](/v1/docs/form-widgets) such as [questions](/v1/docs/form-widgets#question), [text](/v1/docs/form-widgets#text2), and [images](/v1/docs/form-widgets#image) to the form.

By default, the [widgets for input types and layout options](/v1/docs/form-widgets) are listed along the left side of the Form Builder. The workspace to the right of the widgets is where you'll [add](/v1/docs/adding-a-widget-to-a-form), [edit](/v1/docs/editing-a-form-widgets-settings), and [position](/v1/docs/moving-widgets-on-a-form) the widgets. On the right side of the Form Builder are the [settings for the form](/v1/docs/editing-a-forms-settings) or the [selected widget](/v1/docs/editing-a-form-widgets-settings).

## Who Has Access

[Administrators and owners](/v1/docs/user-profile-information#access-level) have access to the Form Builder.

## Viewing the Form Builder

To view the Form Builder, do one of the following:

- Select an existing form from the [Forms Dashboard](/v1/docs/forms-dashboard).
- [Add a new form](/v1/docs/adding-a-form) from the Forms Dashboard.
