# Group Permission: Long Answer Quiz Marker (LAQM)

You can assign [group permissions](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/user-group-permissions) or [account permissions](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/user-account-permissions) to a user by [editing their user profile](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/editing-a-user-manually).

The functions available to users with the Long Answer Quiz Marker group permission are detailed below.

## Course Admin

### Course Builder Dashboard

Users with the LAQM group permission do NOT have access to the [Course Builder Dashboard](/v1/docs/course-builder-dashboard). However, users with the LAQM group permission are included in the list of potential [graders for an online course's quiz](/v1/docs/quiz-graders).

### Quiz Grading Dashboard

Users with the LAQM group permission can do the following from the [Quiz Grading Dashboard](/v1/docs/quiz-grading-dashboard):

- [Grade quizzes](/v1/docs/quiz-grading-dashboard-grading-a-quiz) for enrollments that occurred in the group where the LAQM group permission was granted.
