# Group Permission: Manage Group Users (MGU)

You can assign [group permissions](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/user-group-permissions) or [account permissions](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/user-account-permissions) to a user by [editing their user profile](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/editing-a-user-manually).

The functions available to users with the Manage Group Users group permission are detailed below.

## User Admin

### Manual Enrollment Workscreen

Users with the MGU group permission can do the following from the Manual Enrollment workscreen:

- [Enroll the group's users in course and subscriptions](/v1/docs/enrolling-users) assigned to the group.

### Instructor-Led Training Historical Entry Workscreen

Users with the MGU group permission can do the following from the Instructor-Led Training Historical Entry workscreen:

- [Enroll the group's users in historical training](/v1/docs/adding-historical-training).

### Recommended Enrollments Workscreen

Users with the MGU group permission can do the following from the Recommended Enrollments workscreen:

- [View recommended enrollments](/v1/docs/viewing-recommended-enrollments) for the group's users.
- [Enroll the group's users in recommended enrollments](/v1/docs/enrolling-users-based-on-recommended-enrollments).

### Webinar Registrations Workscreen

Users with the MGU group permission can do the following from the Webinar Registrations workscreen:

### Certifications Dashboard

Users with the MGU group permission can do the following from the [Certifications Dashboard](/v1/docs/certifications-dashboard):

- [Review, confirm, and reject actions](/v1/docs/reviewing-confirming-and-rejecting-actions) for the group's users.
- [Download the certification summary](/v1/docs/downloading-a-users-certification-summary-report) for the group's users.
- [Export data from the Certifications Dashboard](/v1/docs/exporting-data-from-the-certifications-dashboard).

## Account Admin

### Groups Dashboard

Users with the MGU group permission can do the following from the [Groups Dashboard](/v1/docs/groups-dashboard):

- [Assign users to the group](/v1/docs/group-users#adding-users-to-an-existing-group) if they have permission to access users from other groups.
- [Remove users from the group](/v1/docs/group-users#removing-users-from-a-group). The user with the MGU group permission will only be able to remove users whose home group is something other than the one where the MGU user has permission.
