# Group Permission: View Learner Results (VLR)

You can assign [group permissions](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/user-group-permissions) or [account permissions](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/user-account-permissions) to a user by [editing their user profile](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/editing-a-user-manually).

The functions available to users with the View Learner Results group permission are detailed below.

## User Admin

### Supervisor Dashboard

Users with the VLR group permission can do the following from the [Supervisor Dashboard](/v1/docs/supervisor-dashboard):

- View data in the Learner Engagement, Account Summary, Monthly Enrollments sections of the Supervisor Dashboard for the group's users. If the [account's Home Group Reporting setting](/v1/docs/account-settings#enable-home-group-reporting) is enabled, the Supervisor Dashboard will also include enrollments for users whose [home group](/v1/docs/home-groups) is the one where the VLR group permission is granted, regardless of what group the enrollments occurred under.

### Certifications Dashboard

Users with the VLR group permission can do the following from the [Certifications Dashboard](/v1/docs/certifications-dashboard):

- [Download the certification summary for the group's users](/v1/docs/downloading-a-users-certification-summary-report).
- [Export data from the Certifications Dashboard](/v1/docs/exporting-data-from-the-certifications-dashboard).

## Report Admin

### Default Enrollment Report Workscreen

Users with the VLR group permission can do the following from the default Enrollment Report workscreen:

- Run the [default Enrollment Report](/v1/docs/default-enrollment-report). The Enrollment Report will include enrollments that occurred in the group. If the [account's **Home Group Reporting** setting](/v1/docs/account-settings#enable-home-group-reporting) is enabled, the report will also include enrollments for users whose home group is the one where the VLR group permission is granted, regardless of what group the enrollments occurred under.
- Filter the default Enrollment Report for learners in the group.

### Default Learning Plan Report Workscreen

Users with the VLR group permission can do the following from the default Learning Plan Report workscreen:

- Run the [default Learning Plan Report](/v1/docs/default-learning-plan-report).
- Filter the default Learning Plan Report for learners in the group.

### Reports Dashboard

Users with the VLR group permission can do the following from the [Reports Dashboard](/v1/docs/reports-dashboard):

- [Add custom Enrollment Reports](/v1/docs/adding-a-custom-enrollment-report).
- [Add custom Learning Plan Reports](/v1/docs/adding-a-custom-learning-plan-report).
- Run custom Enrollment and Learning Plan Reports that they've added, or that are available to them based on the report's visibility level.

### Scheduled Reporting Dashboard

Users with the VLR group permission can do the following from the [Scheduled Reporting Dashboard](/v1/docs/scheduled-reporting-dashboard):

- [Schedule Enrollment Reports or Learning Plan Reports](/v1/docs/scheduling-a-report).
- [Remove reports that they've scheduled](/v1/docs/removing-a-scheduled-report).
- [View the details for any reports that they've scheduled](/v1/docs/viewing-scheduled-reports).
