# Groups Dashboard

The Groups Dashboard enables you to view and manage SmarterU [groups](/v1/docs/groups).

## Who Has Access

The following users have access to the Groups Dashboard:

- Users with the [Group Manager](/v1/docs/group-permission-group-manager-gm), [Manage Group Courses](/v1/docs/group-permission-manage-group-courses-mgc), or [Manage Group Users](/v1/docs/group-permission-manage-group-users-mgu) group permission.
- Users with the [Create New Group](/v1/docs/account-permission-create-new-group) account permission.
- [Administrators and owners](/v1/docs/user-profile-information#access-level).

The functions available from the Groups Dashboard will depend on your group or account permission.

## Viewing the Groups Dashboard

To view the Groups Dashboard:

1. From the Admin menu, select **Account Admin**.
2. Select **Groups**.

By default the [*Groups (by name)* list option](/v1/docs/viewing-groups#viewing-groups-by-name) is selected.

If your account has less than 2000 groups, the groups are listed in alphabetical order. If your account has more 2000 groups or more, the groups are grouped together by the first character of the name. The number beside the letter indicates the number of groups starting with the letter. You may click the letter to display the groups starting with the letter.

The right pane of the Groups Dashboard displays a [summary of enrollments](/v1/docs/enrollment-status-summary) and a [summary of certifications](/v1/docs/certification-status-summary). Below the summaries is a [grid](/v1/docs/groups-dashboard#columns-in-the-grid) containing information for each group.

## Columns in the Grid

The columns in the grid are described below.

| **Column** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| **Group** | The [name of the group](/v1/docs/group-group-information#name). |
| **Status** | The [group's status](/v1/docs/group-group-information#status) (i.e., Active, Inactive). |
| **Learning Plans** | The number of [learning plans assigned to the group](/v1/docs/group-learning-plans). |
| **Courses** | The number of [courses assigned to the group](/v1/docs/group-courses). |
| **Subscriptions** | The number of [subscriptions assigned to the group](/v1/docs/group-subscriptions). |
| **Users** | The number of [users assigned to the group](/v1/docs/group-users). |
| **Enrollments** | The number of [enrollments by status](/v1/docs/enrollment-status-summary) for the users in the group. |
| **Certifications** | The number of [certifications by status](/v1/docs/certification-status-summary) for the users in the group. |
