# Learner Interface: Course Details, Prerequisites

The prerequisites section of the course details page only displays if the course has [prerequisites](/v1/docs/course-prerequisites).

Prerequisites include actions or courses. Click the arrow beside the prerequisites to view its description. You may also click the course name to view its course details page.

A red X indicates that you have not completed the prerequisites. A checkmark beside the prerequisite indicates that you have completed it.

Depending on the [course's settings](/v1/docs/course-prerequisites), prerequisite courses may need to be either completed or completed and passed.
