# Learner Interface: Knowledge Base Buttons, Links, and Labels

## Name

The article or file's name.

Clicking an article name displays the article. Clicking a file name displays the file's details.

## Description

The file's description.

The description only displays in [list view](/v1/docs/learner-interface-knowledge-base-list-view).

## Image

The [article](/v1/docs/article-article-information#add-thumbnail-image) or [file's thumbnail image](/v1/docs/file-file-information#add-thumbnail-image).

If no thumbnail image has been uploaded for an article, the [article's main image](/v1/docs/article-image-gallery) displays. If the article does not have an image, the placeholder image displays.

If no thumbnail image has been uploaded for a file, the file type icon displays.
