# Learner Interface: Providing Task Feedback

The Task Feedback/Help accordion displays below a task if feedback is allowed for both the [online course](https://support.smarteru.com/v1/docs/online-course-notifications#send-course-feedback-notification) and from your [user account](/v1/docs/user-login-information#allow-feedback).

To provide feedback on a task:

1. Expand the Task Feedback/Help accordion that is below the task. The name of the course, chapter, and task displays along with a field for entering your feedback.

1. Enter your feedback in the field.
2. Select the type of feedback that you are providing.
3. Click **Send Feedback**.

SmarterU sends the [task feedback email](/v1/docs/system-email-templates-course-emails-online-and-scorm#task-feedback) to the addresses specified in the [course's **Feedback Email** setting](/v1/docs/online-course-notifications#feedback-email) [](https://help.smarteru.com/online-course-notifications$setting_feedback_email).
