# Learner Interface: Unenrolling Yourself From a Course

- You may only unenroll yourself from a course, if you [self-enrolled in the course](/v1/docs/learner-interface-enrolling-in-courses) or if you are an [administrator or owner](/v1/docs/user-profile-information#access-level).
- Administrators and owners may [unenroll another user from a course](/v1/docs/unenrolling-users-from-courses) from the [Users Dashboard](/v1/docs/users-dashboard) or the [Enrollment Report](/v1/docs/enrollment-report).

To unenroll yourself from a course:

1. View the [course details page](/v1/docs/course-details-page) of the course you want to unenroll from.
2. Click **Unenroll**.

A confirmation message displays. If you are unenrolling from a [course that you purchased](/v1/docs/learner-interface-buying-courses), the message will indicate that you will need to contact your administrator for a refund.

1. Click **OK** to continue with the unenrollment.
