# Managing Credits

## Who Has Access

[Administrators and owners](/v1/docs/user-profile-information#access-level) can manage credits.

## Managing Credits

To add or remove credits:

1. From the Admin menu, select **Account Admin**.
2. Select **Credits**. The [Credits Dashboard](/v1/docs/credits-dashboard) displays.
3. Click **Management**.

A Credit Management tab displays.

1. Click **Entry**.

The Credit Management workscreen displays.

1. Specify the settings for the entry.

| **Setting** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| **Group** | Select the group for who you'd like to add an entry. The list only displays those groups that have credit courses. |
| **Course/Subscription** | Select the course or subscription for which you'd like to add an entry. The list only displays courses and subscriptions that have been [added to a group with the Credit setting enabled](/v1/docs/group-courses). |
| **Type** | Select the type of entry you'd like to make: - Added - Select if you would like to add credits to the selected group's credit course. - Removed - Select if you would like to remove credits from the selected group's credit course. |
| **Credits** | The number of credits to add or remove. If you are adding credits, the number should be positive. If you are removing credits, the number should be negative. |
| **Description** | A description of the entry. |

1. Click **Save**.
