Refer to the [SmarterU File Uploads page](/v1/docs/smarteru-file-uploads-1) for specifications on video and audio files, as well as all other files that can be uploaded to SmarterU. ## What's the size of a video after it's optimized with a tool such as Prism? Videos that are [optimized with a tool such as Prism](/v1/docs/optimizing-video-with-prism) are typically about 3-5Mb per minute of video. ## How do I find the proctor code for a learner who failed their quiz, but gets additional attempts? This feature is not enabled by default. If you're interested in using this feature, contact our [Success Desk](mailto:success@neovation.com) to have it enabled. To find the learner's proctor code: 1. From the **Reports** menu, select [**Proctor Report**](/v1/docs/proctor-report). 2. Click **Run**. ## Who can preview a course? [Course managers](/v1/docs/course-course-managers) can preview a course from the [Courses Dashboard](/v1/docs/courses-dashboard). Users with the [Create Course group permission](/v1/docs/group-permission-create-course-cc) cannot preview a course and can only [add courses to the group](/v1/docs/group-courses#adding-courses-to-a-group). ## How do I allow learners to submit feedback for a course's tasks? To allow learners who are enrolled in an online course to [provide feedback on any task in the course](/v1/docs/learner-interface-providing-task-feedback) you must do all of the following: - Enter one or more email addresses in the [online course's **Feedback Email** setting](/v1/docs/online-course-notifications#feedback-email). - Check the [user's **Allow Feedback** setting](/v1/docs/user-login-information#allow-feedback). You may set the [default for this setting at the account level](/v1/docs/account-settings#allow-feedback-default). When a learner [submits feedback for an online course's task](/v1/docs/learner-interface-providing-task-feedback), SmarterU sends the [Task Feedback email](/v1/docs/system-email-templates-course-emails-online-and-scorm#task-feedback) to the email addresses specified. We recommend [creating an online course](/v1/docs/adding-an-online-course) when you want to: - Create online training quickly and easily - Avoid purchasing external software - Allow multi-person editing - Easily add narration - Frequently update your training - Immediately share training updates with learners We recommend [creating a SCORM course](/v1/docs/adding-a-scorm-course) when you want to: - Create highly interactive training - Use more advanced design features - Build custom games - Include animations - Use interactive avatars - Include simulations ## Does SmarterU have templates for online courses? To allow learners to view quiz feedback for long answer questions, you'll need to specify the following for the quiz task: - Set the [quiz's **Provide Answer Feedback** setting](/v1/docs/quiz-general-preferences#provide-answer-feedback) to *After Each Quiz Attempt* or *After Quiz Completion*. - Set the [quiz's **Results to Display on Quiz Index and Review Pages** setting](/v1/docs/quiz-completion-preferences#results-to-display-on-quiz-index-and-review-pages) to *All*. - Set the [quiz's **Show Learner Results On** setting](/v1/docs/quiz-completion-preferences#show-learner-results-on) to *Pass or Fail*. - Select the [quiz's **Display Answers on the Quiz Index and Review Pages** checkbox](/v1/docs/quiz-completion-preferences#display-answers-on-the-quiz-index-and-review-pages).
