# Point Tracker: Expiration Options

These [point tracker](/v1/docs/point-trackers) settings are located in the Expiration Options accordion of the Add/Edit Point Tracker workscreen.

## Settings

### Points Expire

Select whether the point tracker expires.

### Expiry Basis

This setting is only available when the [**Points Expire** setting](/v1/docs/point-tracker-expiration-options#points-expire) is set to *Yes*. Select when the points will expire:

- Calendar Year - points expire at the end of the calendar year.
- Days After Earned - points expire after the specified number of days.

### Days

This setting is only available when the [**Expiry Basis** setting](/v1/docs/point-tracker-expiration-options#expiry-basis) is set to *Days After Earned*. Enter the number of days after points are earned that they will expire.
