# Point Tracker: Main

These [point tracker](/v1/docs/point-trackers) settings are located in the Main accordion of the Add/Edit Point Tracker workscreen.

## Settings

### Name

The name of the point tracker.

### Status

Select the status of the point tracker:

- Active - an active point tracker may be [associated with a course](/v1/docs/course-points-and-rewards)
- Inactive - an inactive point tracker may not be associated with a course

### Description

A description of the point tracker.
