# Publishing a SCORM Course from Articulate Presenter

SmarterU enables you to import a SCORM course created from software such as Articulate Presenter. Before you can [add the SCORM course](/v1/docs/adding-a-scorm-course), you will need to publish the course from Presenter. Refer to Articulate's site for [information on publishing a SCORM course](https://community.articulate.com/series/articulate-presenter-360/articles/presenter-360-publishing-a-course-for-lms-distribution).

- Be sure to publish the course using SCORM 2004 or xAPI.
- Refer to [SmarterU File Uploads](https://support.smarteru.com/v1/docs/smarteru-file-uploads-1#scorm-package) for file specifications.

After publishing the course from Articulate Presenter, you can [upload the resulting ZIP file to your SmarterU SCORM course](/v1/docs/scorm-course-main#scorm-package).
