# Publishing a SCORM Course from Articulate Storyline

SmarterU enables you to import a SCORM course created from software such as Articulate Storyline. Before you can [add the SCORM course](/v1/docs/adding-a-scorm-course), you will need to publish the course from Storyline. Refer to Articulate's site for [information on publishing a SCORM course](https://articulate.com/support/article/Storyline-360-Publishing-and-Sharing-Content#lms-lrs).

- Be sure to publish the course using SCORM 2004 or xAPI.
- Refer to [SmarterU File Uploads](https://support.smarteru.com/v1/docs/smarteru-file-uploads-1#scorm-package) for file specifications.

After publishing the course from Articulate Storyline, you can [upload the resulting ZIP file to your SmarterU SCORM course](/v1/docs/scorm-course-main#scorm-package).
