# Removing a Block

Removing a requirement block removes all courses and actions contained in the block from the requirement. If you don't want to remove an entire block, you can [remove individual courses](/v1/docs/editing-a-blocks-courses#removing-a-course-from-a-block) or [actions from the block](/v1/docs/editing-a-blocks-actions#removing-an-action-from-a-block).

To remove a requirement block:

1. [View the requirement](/v1/docs/viewing-requirements).
2. Click the ![](https://cdn.document360.io/7efaadab-fef6-4186-806a-2ca14c9ce9ea/Images/Documentation/removing-a-block-image-3bo1mokh.png) beside the block you want to remove from the requirement.
3. Select **Remove Block**.

1. Click **Save**.
