# Reports: Status and Name Filters

Several reports enable you to filter values by status and name. For example, the following filter enables you to filter by a group's status or name.

## **Filtering by Status**

To filter a column by status:

1. Click the ![](https://cdn.document360.io/7efaadab-fef6-4186-806a-2ca14c9ce9ea/Images/Documentation/reports---status-and-name-filters-image-ttpbx1oa.png).
2. Select the status you want to include.

The label on the name filter changes to match the selected status. In the example below, the Inactive Groups label on the list indicates that the *Inactive* filter status was selected.

Applying a filter status filters the names displayed in the list.

## **Filtering by Name**

To filter a column by name:

1. Expand the list.
2. Click the ![](https://cdn.document360.io/7efaadab-fef6-4186-806a-2ca14c9ce9ea/Images/Documentation/reports---status-and-name-filters-image-8ybee8w9.png) beside the names you want to include. The selected names are shaded.

The selected names will also display in the label. The names will truncated when their length exceeds the label's width.

To de-select a name, click the ![](https://cdn.document360.io/7efaadab-fef6-4186-806a-2ca14c9ce9ea/Images/Documentation/reports---status-and-name-filters-image-eohlcunf.png) again.
