# SmarterU Mobile

The SmarterU mobile app provides another way for learners to check the status of their courses and learning plans, enroll in courses, and access the knowledge base. Although SmarterU has always been responsive, the mobile app makes it easier for learners to access their training by retaining their login information.

The app is available for [Android](/v1/docs/app-for-android-devices) and [iOS](/v1/docs/app-for-ios-devices) devices.

## **Usage Guidelines**

- Although the SmarterU app is useful for learners, we recommend that administrators access SmarterU's admin functions using a desktop device.
- [Online courses created with the SmarterU course builder](/v1/docs/adding-an-online-course) are not designed for mobile use.
- SCORM courses published using Flash may not work properly in the mobile app.
- [Single sign-on (SSO)](/v1/docs/external-authorization-sso) is not supported. If you need to use SSO, you'll need to use a browser and not the SmarterU mobile app.
