# SmarterU's Content Delivery Network

## **About SmarterU's Content Delivery Network**

SmarterU's Content Delivery Network (CDN) automatically optimizes uploaded .MP4 files and delivers them through a global CDN. Because files are stored in multiple locations around the world, they are delivered to your learners faster. Videos are streamed to your learners with less buffering.

The maximum allowed size for each file uploaded to the Content Delivery Network is 2Gb.

- The CDN is enabled by default for new accounts.
- The CDN is currently available for .MP4 files.
- You may currently use the CDN for [online course](/v1/docs/courses-online), [knowledge base](/v1/docs/knowledge-bases-files), and [dashboard set files](/v1/docs/page-configuration-for-video-widget).
