# SSO: Google OpenID

To enable external authorization with Google OpenID:

1. [Enable external authorization](/v1/docs/account-external-authorization-sso#enable-external-authorization) for your SmarterU account.
2. Expand the Google OpenID accordion.
3. Check the **Enable Google OpenID** checkbox.

1. In the **Domain** field, enter a valid domain. You must enter at least one valid domain.
2. Click **+ Domain**.
3. Click **Save**.
