# System Email Templates: Action Emails

## Action Confirmation Notification

Action Confirmation Notification

### Description

This email is sent to the [users who can confirm an action](/v1/docs/action-confirmation#requires-confirmation-by) when:

> An action needs to be confirmed

AND

> The [action's **Send Confirmation Notification** checkbox](/v1/docs/action-confirmation#send-confirmation-notification) is checked

### Changing the Template

[Administrators and owners](/v1/docs/user-profile-information#access-level) can change the default template for the account by doing one of the following:

- [Select the template from the Email Management Dashboard](/v1/docs/changing-the-accounts-default-email-templates). Be sure to select the Action Confirmation Notification email type from the grid.
- [Edit the account's](/v1/docs/editing-your-account-settings) [Email Template Options settings](/v1/docs/account-email-template-options). [Expand the Actions accordion](/v1/docs/account-email-template-options#action-email-types) and select the email template for the [Action Confirmation Notification email type](/v1/docs/account-email-template-options#action-confirmation-notification).

To change the selected email template, check the **Change Assigned Email Template** checkbox and select the email template from the list.
