# System Email Templates: Learning Plan Emails

## Learning Plan Assignment

### Email Subject

Assignment of *|learningplan.name|* by *|account.name|*

Example: Assignment of Retail Store Manager by Dana Brown

### Description

This email is sent to a user when:

> They're automatically assigned a learning plan

OR

> They're assigned a learning plan by another user

### Example

### Changing the Template

[Administrators and owners](/v1/docs/user-profile-information#access-level) can change the default template for the account by doing one of the following:

- [Select the template from the Email Management Dashboard](/v1/docs/changing-the-accounts-default-email-templates). Be sure to select the Learning Plan Assignment email type from the grid.
- [Edit the account's](/v1/docs/editing-your-account-settings) [Email Template Options settings](/v1/docs/account-email-template-options). [Expand the Learning Plans accordion](/v1/docs/account-email-template-options#learning-plan-email-types) and select the email template for the [Learning Plan Assignment email type](/v1/docs/account-email-template-options#learning-plan-assignment).

To change the selected email template, check the **Change Assigned Email Template** checkbox and select the email template from the list.
