# Unarchiving a Venue or Room

Unarchiving a [venue](/v1/docs/venues) or [room](/v1/docs/rooms) allows you to assign [instructor-led courses](/v1/docs/courses-instructor-led) to the venue or room. The unarchived venues and rooms will again be available when you edit an instructor-led course session.

To unarchive a venue or room:

1. From Admin menu, select **Account Admin.**
2. Select **Venues & Rooms**. The [Venues & Rooms Dashboard](/v1/docs/venues-and-rooms) displays.
3. Ensure that archived venues or rooms are included in the list by selecting the **Archived** or **All** status filter.

1. Select the venue or room you would like to unarchive from the left pane. The selected venue or room's details display in the right pane.
2. Click **Unarchive**.
