# Viewing Email Snippets

## Viewing Snippets by Name

To view snippets by name:

1. From the Admin menu, select **Account Admin**
2. Select **Email Management**. The [Email Management Dashboard](/v1/docs/email-management-dashboard) displays.
3. From the list, select **Snippets (by name)**.

The snippets are organized by type:

- System Defaults - [Snippets that are included with SmarterU](/v1/docs/email-template-variables#snippet-variables).
- Custom - [Snippets that you have created](/v1/docs/adding-an-email-snippet).

1. Select the snippet you would like to view.

## Viewing Snippets by Language

To view snippets by language:

1. From the Admin menu, select **Account Admin**
2. Select **Email Management**. The [Email Management Dashboard](/v1/docs/email-management-dashboard) displays.
3. From the list, select **Snippets (by language)**.

The snippets are organized by language.

1. Expand the language containing the snippet you would like to view. The snippets within the language are organized by type:

- System Defaults - [Snippets that are included with SmarterU](/v1/docs/email-template-variables#snippet-variables).
- Custom - [Snippets that you have created](/v1/docs/adding-an-email-snippet).

1. Select the snippet you would like to view.
