# Viewing Inactive Users

In order to preserve the history of any actions or records, SmarterU does not allow you to delete records.

To view [inactive users](/v1/docs/inactivating-a-user):

1. From the Admin menu, select **User Admin**.
2. Select **Users**. The [Users Dashboard](/v1/docs/users-dashboard) displays.

4. Select *Inactive*.
