# Viewing Licensing Areas and Regions

In order to use this feature, be sure to enable [licensing](https://support.smarteru.com/docs/account-settings#enable-licensing) for your account.

SmarterU enables you to manage the various areas and regions associated with [licensing agencies](/v1/docs/licensing-agencies).

To view areas and regions in your account:

1. From the Admin menu, select **Account Admin**.
2. Select **Licensing**. The [Licensing Dashboard](/v1/docs/licensing-dashboard) displays.
3. From the list, select **Areas/Regions**.

The areas are listed. Click the arrow beside the area to view its regions. You may also view the details of any area by clicking its name in the left pane. Click the ![](https://cdn.document360.io/7efaadab-fef6-4186-806a-2ca14c9ce9ea/Images/Documentation/viewing-licensing-areas-and-regions-image-x1k8oq1w.png) beside the region to edit it.
