Requirements are the set of criteria that a learner must satisfy to fulfill a certification. These criteria include:

  • Courses – Online, instructor-led, or SCORM courses
  • Actions - Conditions that the learner must meet

For example, to satisfy the Workplace Safety requirement requirement, users must complete the CPR and Accident Prevention courses and submit proof of a vision and hearing exam.

Once satisfied, requirements can be valid indefinitely, or they can be set to expire.

Example 1

The Retail Store Manager learning plan requires learners to complete the Retail Store Management and Retail Customer Service certifications. The Retail Store Management certification shows that the learner is able to manage the store's inventory and employees. The certification has the following requirements:

  • Retail Merchandising
  • Inventory Management
  • Team Management

The Retail Customer Service certification shows that the learner is able to assist customers. It has one requirement: Retail Customer Service.

Example 2

The Manufacturing Floor Manager learning plan requires learners to complete the Manufacturing Floor Management, Forklift Operation, and Conveyor Belt Operation certifications.

The Manufacturing Floor Management certification shows that the learner understands safety procedures and how to manage personnel. The certification has two requirements:

  • Manufacturing Floor Safety
  • Team Management

The Forklift Operation and Conveyor Belt Operation certifications require learners to complete the Forklift Operator and Conveyor Belt Operator requirements. Each of these requirements ensure that the learner knows how to safely operate the forklift or conveyor belt.
