Storyboarding Course Content

Storyboarding is the process of planning your course content prior to adding the online course to SmarterU. Although you might be eager to jump in and start adding course content to SmarterU, storyboarding enables you to map out how you want your content to look to the learner.

For example, you can plan the layout and sequence of content slides. You may want an image to display on the left side of the content slide on the first page, then have the image on the right in the next content slide for visual variety. We recommend that you refer to the available templates to help you visualize your course content. 

The tool that you use to storyboard your content is entirely up to you. Although there are a number of tools designed specifically for storyboarding, you can use PowerPoint to plan your content.
