In order to use this feature, be sure to enable discussions for your account.
Adhoc discussion forums exists independently, outside the context of a course.
To add an adhoc discussion forum:
- From the Admin menu, select Account Admin.
- Select Discussion Forums.
- Click Forum.
A new tab displays the Add/Edit Discussion Forum workscreen.
- Specify the discussion forum's settings in the following accordions:
- Click Save.
